Aman Pandey of Bugsmirror was named the top researcher in terms of reporting and submitting vulnerabilities by Google in a blog post. Pandey submitted 232 vulnerabilities in 2021 alone. Aman Pandey (who is also the company's CEO) launched Bugsmirror, which is based in Indore. He received his education at the National Institute of Technology in Bhopal. Despite the fact that the organisation was only founded in 2021, it was already helping to uncover vulnerabilities in 2019.

Pandey has reported over 280 flaws to the Android Vulnerabilities Rewards Program since his initial report in 2019, according to Google's Vulnerability Rewards Team's Sarah Jacobus, while also playing a key role in the program's success. In addition, Google has handed out $8.7 million in vulnerability awards. The firm's security researchers have discovered flaws not only in Android, but also in Google Chrome, Search, Play, and other products.

The greatest payment was granted for Android vulnerabilities, according to Jacobus. In fact, from 2020 to 2021, the awards more than doubled, with approximately $3 million in prizes. Furthermore, in 2021, Google paid out the greatest payment in VRP ever, $157,000, for an exploit chain identified in Android. For 333 unique Chrome security bug reports reported in 2021, over 115 Chrome VRP researchers were rewarded, totaling $2.2 million in VRP prizes. A total of $3.3 million was awarded, with $3.1 million going to Chrome browser security bugs and $250,000 going to Chrome OS flaws.
